Park Place/Fairview District

The Park Place/Fairview historical district is located in the 1400 to 1700 blocks of North Park Place and Fairview and the 1800 block of Wellington Place.

There are 196 structures in the district reflecting the three major periods in the architectural history of Wichita: the boom period of the 1880's; the Craftsman and Prairie era; and the post 1940's Minimal Traditional period of construction.

The three most prominent styles found in the district are the Craftsman/Bungalow, Neoclassical Revival and National Polk. The historic district was created in 1978.
